Are you taking a multi-vitamin of some sort? Jenny Craig highly recommends people take one. For obvious reasons they can help with stress, mood, stronger immune system, memory and alertness. As I have mentioned in the past when any of these areas are affected with a negative reaction to the body; weight loss is thus affected as well. The multivitamins contain the vitamins and minerals necessary to help promote a healthy body and mind as a result increasing the likelihood of a weight loss. Moreover, I discovered after doing some research, many vitamins contain green tea extract which helps heighten the rate of the metabolism. Hmmm this tells me I need to start buying diet green tea again! Seriously though, I don't mention it in all my blogs but I either take a multivitamin pill or eat a Jenny Craig vitamin bar to help balance out the levels in my body and strengthen my immune system. For whatever the reason maybe, when I eat the vitamin bar instead of the yogurt at lunch I am more satiated. I eat the bar about an hour before lunch and this helps tide me over until I am able to actually have a meal. PRIA Bars by Power Bar are similar with about 3.5g fat, 110 cal, protein 5g.
