A quick ‘heads up’. If you are wondering if you’re really getting organic, when you pay organic prices, there is a trick to make sure. Look at the PLU code on the sticker or packaging. If it starts with a 9, it’s organic. If it doesn’t, it may have been treated with pesticides.
I think most vendors are honest, but check for yourself. Get what you pay for, especially when you are paying a premium!
